Door 6 Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy policies and practices of Door 6, Inc. (“Door 6”) regarding its game application for mobile devices and tablet computers, “Atmo” (“ATMO”).
Please be aware that any profile or personally identifiable information that you voluntarily disclose in ATMO becomes publicly available and can be read, collected, and used by others and could be used to send you unsolicited messages. Door 6 is not responsible for the profile or personally identifiable information that you choose to disclose publicly using ATMO.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the Terms of Use. Your use of ATMO and any personally identifiable information you provide in using ATMO is subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
1. Information Door 6 Collects
A person who uses ATMO (a “User”) may be required to provide any or all of the following to Door 6 to activate a subscription to ATMO: his or her name, email address, password and mobile device identification number (collectively, “Personal Information”).
A User’s Personal Information will be retained for a period of one year following the cancellation of User’s subscription with ATMO and for any period during which there is a dispute between the User and Door 6.
Playing ATMO requires the use of an iPhone, any cell phone running Google Android, or a tablet computer. If you want to receive SMS text notifications, a messaging (including SMS text messages) plan is also required. Standard data and messaging charges, fees, and taxes from the User’s carrier apply.
2. Information Door 6 Collects from Visits to (the “Website”)
When Users and others visit (the “Website”), Door 6 collects the visitor’s IP address (the unique set of numbers used to identify the visitor’s computer), and his or her registered domain or home server.
When Users use ATMO, Door 6’s servers automatically record certain information about their usage from their mobile device or tablet computer and web browser. These server logs may include information such as a mobile device identification number and device identifier, web requests, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the number of messages related to the User’s profile, the amount of time spent on particular web pages, the dates and times of requests.
Door 6, its contractors and other third parties that help Door 6 provide ATMO and the Website (“Door 6’s agents”) may use “cookies” to improve visitors’ experience at the Website. A “cookie” is a small file placed on a Website visitor’s computer hard drive that identifies the computer and data about the visit so that, when the visitor returns to the site, the site recognizes the visitor, which allows Door 6 to tailor its Website to the visitor. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information but may be linked to Personal Information that visitors provide to Door 6.
Door 6 uses Google Analytics on its Website. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data, which may include information about a visitor’s operating system, browser version, referring site, and keywords used to locate the Website. Advertisers that place ads on the Website may use their own cookies. Any information collected by advertisers is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
If a visitor requests information by sending Door 6 an email or downloads ATMO from Door 6, Door 6 may save the visitor’s e-mail address and any other information that the visitor provides. This information may be used by Door 6 to provide services or products the visitor requests and to contact the visitor in the future by mail, by e-mail, or by phone to convey information about Door 6's services. Visitors will always be provided with the option not to be contacted or to unsubscribe if they register with the site.
3. How to Delete Information Obtained by Door 6.
A User may request to have their Personal Information deleted by e-mailing administrator@door-6.com; Memo Title: Delete User Information.
4. How Information Is Secured.
Door 6 uses a variety of physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to guard against loss, misuse, and alteration of Personal Information. For example, access to Personal Information is limited to Door 6 and contractor personnel who need the information for ATMO; and Door 6 uses and requires its contractors to use technical measures to guard against unauthorized access to Personal Information. Door 6 also requires Users to use usernames and passwords to access Personal Information. Door 6 cannot, however, guarantee the security of any Personal Information, or information collected from the Website. Despite Door 6’s efforts to secure such information, it may be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of Door 6’s physical, technical, and procedural safeguards. Users use ATMO and visitors go to the Website at their own risk. If Door 6 learns that a User’s Personal Information has been disclosed to an unauthorized person, Door 6 will attempt to notify the User.
5. How Door 6 Uses Users’ and Website Visitors’ Information.
Door 6 uses each User’s Personal Information to provide ATMO to the User. Door 6 does not collect information of any kind other than to provide ATMO. Providing ATMO to the User includes the following uses of Personal Information:
• Display of your actions, messages and chat to other Users
• Use of Users’ email address or mobile number from time-to-time for non-marketing or administrative purposes such as sending privacy or security related notices, notifying Users of major ATMO changes, or for other User service purposes.
Door 6 does not use Personal Information to send commercial or marketing SMS text messages or email messages to Users without their express consent or unless if they have opted-in to be part of a specific program or feature in accordance with the applicable ATMO consent procedures.
You acknowledge and agree that Door 6 may share Personal Information and information collected from the Website with Door 6’s agents, corporate affiliates, or advisors who help Door 6 operate and improve its business. Door 6 has entered into or will enter into written agreements with its agents, corporate affiliates, and advisors to which it discloses Personal Information and information collected from the Website that requires them to adhere to pertinent provisions of this Privacy Policy and the Safe Harbor Principles issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce, which are available at http://www.export.gov/safeharbor/SH_Privacy.asp. Door 6 also prohibits its agents, corporate affiliates, and advisors from using any information disclosed to them by Door 6 for purposes other than implementing Door 6’s instructions.
Door 6 may use Personal Information to analyze how Users use ATMO to determine ways in which Door 6 can improve ATMO and to consider offering new services to Users. Door 6 may also use information collected from the Website to analyze traffic to the Website to determine how to improve them.
Door 6 may use or disclose Personal Information and information collected from the Website: to comply with applicable laws; to protect the rights and property of Door 6 or others; to protect a person’s safety; to prevent abuse; as evidence in legal proceedings; to cooperate with properly authorized law enforcement investigations; and in response to subpoenas from third parties. Door 6 will use good faith efforts to promptly notify a User of any subpoena that seeks any of the User’s Personal Information to enable the User to seek to quash the subpoena. Finally, Door 6 may disclose or sell Personal Information and information collected from the Website as an asset in conjunction with the sale of Door 6 to a third party or in conjunction with the sale of a portion of Door 6’s assets.
6. Children’s Information
Door 6 recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of children. Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, Door 6 will not knowingly collect any Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE, THEN PLEASE DO NOT USE OR ACCESS ATMO AT ANY TIME OR IN ANY MANNER.
If Door 6 learns that Personal Information of persons less than 13 years of age has been collected through ATMO without verifiable parental consent, then Door 6 will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under the age of 18 has obtained an ATMO account against your wishes or without your consent, then you may alert Door 6 at administrator@door-6.com and request that Door 6 delete that child's Personal Information from its systems.
7. Information Collected by Others
This Privacy Policy addresses only the policy and procedures of Door 6. Door 6 is not responsible for the privacy policies of third parties, including but not limited to those whose websites may be linked to the Door 6’s Website.
8. Use Outside the United States
ATMO is hosted in the United States and is intended for United States Users. Users who use ATMO from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States and by providing your personal data you consent to that transfer.
9. Enforcement
If a User believes that his or her rights as described in this Privacy Policy have been violated by Door 6, the User should email legal@door-6.com or send a letter to Door 6, 520 University Avenue, Suite 220, Madison, WI 53703. Door 6 will attempt to resolve User complaints as quickly as possible.
10. Amendments to this Privacy Policy
Door 6 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add to, or remove any portion of this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part, at any time. Door 6 will include such amendments on the version of this Policy that is posted on Door 6’s Website (www.door-6.com) and will notify User by e-mail that the Policy has been amended. Amendments to the Policy will take effect immediately upon being posted to the Website. User’s continued use of ATMO after Door 6 posts an amendment constitutes User’s acceptance of and consent to such amendment.

By using ATMO, the User acknowledges that he/she has read and accepted this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept this Privacy Policy, please do not use ATMO or visit the Website.
12. Bankruptcy, Merger or Acquisition
In the event that Door 6 is acquired by or merged with a third party entity, we reserve the right, in any of these circumstances, to transfer or assign the information we have collected from our Users as part of such merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control so that Door 6 can continue operations. In the unlikely event of our bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors' rights generally, we may not be able to control how Users’ Personal Information is treated, transferred, or used. Users will be notified via notice through Door 6 of any such change in ownership or control of their Personal Information.
